- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand the wiring requirements for switchgear systems.
- Installing, connecting, and routing electrical cables, wires, and busbars within switchgear enclosures.
- Mounting and securing electrical components, such as circuit breakers, relays, meters, and transformers, according to specifications.
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members to identify and resolve wiring or assembly issues.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and test reports.
- Adhering to safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
YOU HAVE:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Experience as a technician preferred.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in manuals and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour
