VTG is seeking a Ground Sytems Engineer in Chantilly, VA.  
 
What will you do?
 
 
VTG has an opportunity for a Ground Systems Engineer to work on an exciting, fast-paced program. This position provides subject matter expertise to customer's R&D ground system design, architecture development, system integration and deployment. This position will provide technical assessments to system design and integration challenges and recommend mitigation approaches, to include: hardware solutions, software solutions, and modification of architectural design. The successful applicant will work to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex and technically challenging work. 
 - Build relationships between key stakeholders such as vendors, cloud infrastructure providers, and the customer
 - Strong analytical and collaboration skills
 - Review system architectures, analyze requirements and system design, propose verification methodologies, and help integrate complex ground systems
 - Review development contractor's documents and procedures, requirements, verification methodologies, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and test plans to ensure program success
 - Provide support to acquisitions, source selection and programmatic processes
 - Provide technical evaluation of proposals submitted by contractors
 - Update Statements of Work (SOW) to support any Engineering Change Proposal (ECP)
 - Coordinate and facilitate technical exchange meetings between various organizations
 - Monitor system testing to ensure system requirements are properly addressed
 
  
 
Do you have what it takes?
 
 
 - Active TS/SCI clearance with poly
 - BS or MS degree in STEM
 - 15+ years relevant experience with 5 years customer and ground segment experience
 - Experience with acquisition SETA support
 - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
 - Experience with system integration
 - Experience in operational readiness, rehearsals, and system testing
 - Experience across multiple engineering disciplines to include: systems engineering, software/hardware development, and integration and test
