The Shipping/Receiving Associate plays a vital role in our operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods. This position significantly contributes to supporting our logistical goals by accurately managing incoming and outgoing shipments.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Safely operate a forklift and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials, ensuring efficient handling of all products.
Prepare finished goods for shipment by organizing them in staging areas, completing necessary paperwork, shrink-wrapping pallets, and loading trailers.
Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse by performing general housekeeping tasks and upholding 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
YOU HAVE:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Experience with forklift operation, computer data entry, and general material handling (moving, counting, and identifying products) is required.
You are comfortable with the physical demands of a warehouse environment, including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 70 pounds.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour
