Electronic Maintenance Technician I (FON) "W-TRS" Fort Irwin, California N.T.C.

Job Description

*Ensures that the infrastructure supporting NTC Instrumentation Network, including IP television, and video networks operates efficiently and reliably.

*Employs a blend of technical expertise and precision to troubleshoot issues and conducts regular system tests to provide seamless flow of digital communications network.

*Utilize specialized equipment to identify faults, measure loss, and verify the integrity of fiber optic links.

*Perform regular maintenance on fiber optic systems.

*Implements and removes circuit requests based on rotational need.

*Supports fiber optic connectivity to fiber popups, remote sites, MAAR, & MVU vans and Operations Group Buildings throughout cantonment and the range. FAN site sustainment and maintenance for fiber optic and power generation components.

*Removes and replaces FAN site generators and components as required.

*Sustains, maintains and provides preventative maintenance for generator engines.

*May be required to obtain a Secret Level DOD Clearance.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance
