Material Handler II - FT - North Charleston

* Assisting unloading or loading trucks.

* Sorts merchandise into containers for storage, processing, distribution, and recycling.* Operates baler machine to prepare specified material for distribution.

* Maintains accurate record keeping of recycling output.

* Maintains a clean and safe working area.

* Visually inspects equipment prior to operating to determine if equipment is safe to operate.

* Utilizes safety checklists to maintain accurate record keeping of equipment safety inspections.* Obtains and maintains license to operate forklift and walk behind stacker.

* Demonstrates proficiency in the above duties, responsibilities, and equipment operation through evaluation.

* Assists with basic periodical maintenance of industrial equipment.

* Complies with all agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.

* Performs other job-related duties as assigned
