Job Responsibilities Leads the design, development, governance, and administration of compensation programs globally to ensure not only responsiveness to the Company's compensation goals and competitive practices, but also proactively anticipates future needs and trends, positioning the organization ahead in a dynamic market. Works collaboratively across Business Units and Functions to support and implement strategic compensation initiatives that align with organizational objectives and talent management priorities. Responsible for developing advanced compensation models and analytics to assist in budgeting, plan design, and planning cycles. Compensation Partner
Provides compensation support and counsel to assigned clients, business units, and cross-functional partners. Offers and reviews creative solutions to global compensation-related issues, ensuring alignment and consistency across the organization. Advises the business on external employment offers, job leveling, promotions, and competitive compensation analysis. Continuously assesses the effectiveness of current compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures, recommending strategic, cost-effective revisions that are grounded in industry best practices and fully aligned with our global compensation strategy. Directs enterprise-wide compensation planning activities, including salary increase and incentive cycles, and partners with Business Units and Functional leaders to deliver tailored solutions that meet their strategic needs. Analyzes market pricing of jobs and participates in matching internal positions with external data in salary surveys, ensuring parity and competitiveness across all areas of the business. Analyzes data for market trends. Performs line management responsibilities, including professional development, performance appraisals, and employee counseling for junior and management staff. Assigns project work and reviews workload for all direct reports. Manages staff by establishing goals to increase knowledge and skill levels and by delegating tasks commensurate with skill level. Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations impacting compensation plans and policies, working closely with stakeholders across Business Units, Functions, and our works councils to maintain alignment and effective collaboration.
Data Analysis
Demonstrates a passion for continuous learning and curiosity around emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence, proactively exploring how AI tools and insights might be integrated into total rewards strategies. Champions experimentation and knowledge sharing to uncover new ways AI can empower more data-driven, personalized, and agile compensation solutions, enhancing the experience and outcomes for clients, business leaders, and employees alike. Oversees the development and maintenance of sophisticated compensation models to assist in budgeting and planning cycles. Creates models that show the impact of various pay scenarios and how they affect different parts of the organization. Works with the reporting team to ensure reports meet compensation needs for both standard and ad hoc reporting across all functions. Conducts extensive pay equity analyses to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, proactively identifying and addressing pay gaps organization-wide. Prepares regular and ad hoc compensation analyses, dashboards, and reports for senior leadership, tailored to the needs of diverse Business Units and Functions. Supports merger and acquisition activities related to compensation and job leveling, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree, preferably in a related field 10 years of related experience as a compensation professional with 2 years management experience. Strategic thinker with a strong compensation background in large global companies. Sales compensation experience preferred. CCP, GRP, and/or S/PHR certification preferred. Workday and Payfactors experience preferred. Excellent leadership skills. Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel skills. Ability to demonstrate strong, persuasive verbal and written communication skills. Ability to identify creative solutions and implement with minimal direction. Professionalism and effective ability to manage confidential information. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
