Position Overview

Join our innovative manufacturing team at our Bubble and Foam Extrusion Plant.

We're seeking an experiencedIndustrial Maintenance Technicianwith advancedPLC programmingandelectrical troubleshootingexpertise to support our manufacturing operations. This role combines electrical, mechanical, and automation skills to maintain critical production equipment in our extrusion facility.

Job Description

Shift:12-hourNight Shift
Schedule:6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Pay Rate:$29.00+ per hour (commensurate with experience)
Shift differential:Additional $2.00 per hour



Responsibilities



  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repairAllen-Bradley PLC systems,HMI interfaces, andindustrial control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance onextrusion equipment,pneumatic systems, andhydraulic components
  • Maintain and repairbulk material handling systemsincluding hoppers, loaders, and vacuum transport equipment
  • Calibrate sensors, instruments, and control devices to ensure precise manufacturing specifications
  • Install, modify, and upgrade manufacturing equipment according to engineering specifications
  • Rebuild mechanical components and perform precision adjustments
  • Document maintenance activities inCMMS softwareandSAP
  • Participate incontinuous improvement initiativesandTPM programs
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to all safety protocols

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated expertise withPLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)programming is preferred
  • Millwork, machine work, and welding experience are preferred
  • Experience in electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic controls systems
  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Officeapplications andSAP
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong electrical background
  • 2 year technical degree is preferred




Physical Requirements:


* Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time


* Ability to frequently lift to 40lbs


* Ability to constantly work in a non-conditioned environment


* Ability to frequently ascend/descend a ladders/stair as required to repair equipment
