Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Overtime on Saturdays as needed)
Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 annually (Based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Foreman / Supervisor to lead and manage our fabrication department. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, proven leadership experience, and the ability to drive productivity while ensuring top-tier quality and safety standards.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating workflow, mentoring employees, and ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time. The Fabrication Supervisor will also collaborate closely with other departments to support seamless communication and continuous improvement across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of 20+ fabrication and welding personnel.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and assign daily work to fabrication team members.
  • Oversee all fabrication activities to ensure projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and customer specifications.
  • Conduct fabrication and weld inspections; ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 and internal quality requirements.
  • Mentor, coach, and train employees to improve skill levels and departmental performance.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues to maintain production flow and resolve delays.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams for smooth workflow and communication.
  • Maintain and enforce workplace safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Monitor production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize appropriate software/tools for planning, reporting, and tracking department progress.
Requirements:
  • Proven background in steel fabrication within a job shop environment.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of fabrication methods, welding techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with AWS D1.1 Welding Code.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong quality control awareness.
  • Ability to use planning and reporting software or related tools.
