PRIMARY PURPOSE Assigns physical access, parking access and issues ID badges to Parkland employees, contractors, students, volunteers and physicians. Ensures customer satisfaction by following the policies and procedures as established by the department. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates degree in business administration, criminal justice, security management, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience 3-5 years of experience in assigning building access, parking access and issuing ID badges, including experience with building and parking access control systems is preferred. Equivalent Education and/or Experience May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above. Certification/Registration/Licensure None Required Tests for Placement None Skills or Special Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with departmental staff, hospital personnel, and the public. Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and positive demeanor. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office 365. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions within established policies and procedures. Responsibilities
