Job Overview:
Are you an engineer at heart with the business acumen to drive product growth? We're looking for a Product Manager who can combine technical expertise with strategic vision to lead our centrifugal blower portfolio across world-class brands like Hoffman & Lamson, Roots, and Hibon.

As a member of our Process Flow Technologies division, you'll own the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of centrifugal blower products, spanning both new equipment and aftermarket initiatives. Drawing on your engineering or applications background, you'll bring a deep understanding of the technology and translate it into product strategies that deliver real customer value. This is a highly visible role where you will be responsible for driving incremental growth and margin expansion through smart execution, innovative programs, and market-focused initiatives.

You'll work closely with every part of the business, including customers, channel partners, sales, operations, procurement, and engineering to specify, develop, and commercialize products that set the standard in the market. Along the way, you'll continue to sharpen your knowledge of current and competitive products, industry trends, and market opportunities, positioning our brands for ongoing success. With your ability to clearly define and present vision, strategy, and roadmaps to management, you'll be a driving force in shaping the future of our blower business.

Responsibilities:


  • Strategic: Develops, recommends, and implements strategic action plans for growth and profitability. Creates long and short-range strategic programs and marketing plans that identifies new market segments, growth opportunity, technologies, and creates new program development business plans that support overall strategic goals.


  • Product: Has strong product knowledge and understanding of how products function in their applications. Understand key advantages of products or programs and how these benefit the customer. Maintains continuous surveillance, evaluation and files of competitive products including function, performance, pricing, and marketing techniques through interaction with sales, end users, and other sources.


  • Operational: Works within a cross functional team in the specification, development, and commercialization of innovative products, services or programs. Ensure the programs are launching into the market and the commercial and operational plans support the expected outcomes. Provides input on forecast, adoption of plans and financial performance monthly to the manufacturing plants.


  • Sales Collateral: Develop and implementation of promotional programs, literature, sales aids, sales training programs and advertising requirements for specific product lines. Interface with the Demand Generation team on setting campaign and tradeshow strategies for the various brands.


  • Training: Develop and implement value proposition for product line and creates and maintains training programs for outside sales, customer care, customers and channel partners.


  • Communication/Reporting: Develop presentations, reports and metrics on the overall performance and profitability of product programs and effectively presents and communicates this information to management. Ownership of financials including but not limited to orders, revenue, margin, and price realization.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related technical field) preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.


  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Program Management, or Applications/Proposal Engineering, combining technical expertise with strong project leadership, strategic thinking, and results-driven execution.




Core Competencies:


  • Excellent communication, program development and analytical skills required, with an emphasis on attention to detail.


  • The candidate should be self-motivated and equipped to work on multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously.


  • The ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization as well as distributors and customers is critical to success in this position.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Office with strong analytical skills.




Preferences:


  • Work experience in SAP.


  • Strong acumen in financial metrics and their strategic implications, enabling data-driven decision-making.


  • Understands the commercial aspect when interfacing with customers to deliver a solution to meet their needs.




Travel & Work Arrangements


  • This is a hybrid position


  • Travel is up to 15%
