Reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Data Analytics and Campus Planning, Enrollment Management, Office of International Programs, Student Affairs, Student Academic Success at Rutgers University-Camden, the Senior Project Coordinator functions as a project manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing initiatives that advance the division of the Senior Vice Chancellor. With a focus on projects tied to international and domestic student growth, this role ensures cross-divisional initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Rutgers-Camden's Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
The Senior Project Coordinator acts as a central liaison among Enrollment Management, Student Academic Success, the Office of International Services, Student Affairs, and the Provost's Office to drive collaboration, manage dependencies, and monitor project outcomes with a focus on international student growth. The position oversees Enrollment Management systems training and access, provides secondary Salesforce/
CRM support in partnership with external vendors and central
OIT, and facilitates integration between Enrollment Management (Salesforce) and Student Academic Success (Navigate).
In addition, the role of the Senior Project Coordinator manages key recruitment and pipeline projects-including Early College Acceptance Day in Camden City, "Return to Learn" program for start stop outs, and adult student recruitment initiative-while building adult learner pathways and supporting application review. The Senior Project Coordinator also manages vendor relationships (Encoura,
EAB, College Board, Garrison, etc.), develops project dashboards, and creates tools and processes for tracking deliverables, assessing risks, and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
Essential Duties/Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage cross-divisional projects under the direction of the Senior Vice Chancellor, ensuring initiatives are planned, executed, and monitored to meet enrollment, recruitment, and retention goals with an emphasis on international student growth.
- Lead and support international student outreach projects, aligning activities with divisional priorities, coordinating stakeholders, and providing project management support for international recruitment initiatives.
- Plan and deliver Early College Acceptance Day programs in Camden City and oversee application review processes, including scheduling, logistics, stakeholder communication, and evaluation of outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and manage adult learner recruitment strategies through the "Return to Learn" program and other re-engagement pipelines, tracking progress against established milestones and performance indicators.
- Serve as project liaison with the Provost's Office to coordinate dual-enrollment, reverse transfer, MOUs, and other academic pipeline partnerships, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements are met.

Knowledge required to perform in this position includes:
- Higher Education Operations: Understanding of enrollment management, student success, and international student services.
- Project Management Principles: Familiarity with project lifecycle, planning, execution, related project management software (Smartsheet and/or Share Point and MS Project Management software and evaluation.
CRM Systems: Working knowledge of Salesforce and Navigate platforms.- Data and Systems Integration: Understanding of how data flows between systems and how to manage access and training.
- Vendor Management: Knowledge of contract negotiation, performance tracking, and partnership evaluation.
- Strategic Planning: Awareness of institutional strategic goals and how to align projects accordingly.
- International Student Recruitment: Knowledge of global education trends and international outreach strategies.
Skills and abilities required include:
- Project Coordination & Management: Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and deliver outcomes.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise across divisions and with external partners.
- Technical Proficiency: Skills in CRM platforms (Salesforce, Navigate), data tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess program effectiveness, interpret data, and recommend improvements.
- Training & Documentation: Skill in developing training materials and guiding staff on system usage.
- Contract Oversight: Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with institutional standards.

Preferred Qualifications |
A master's degree is preferred, particularly in higher education leadership or organizational development. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in higher education or enrollment management, with hands-on experience using Salesforce
CRM or a comparable
CRM platform. Experience with Navigate (
EAB) and proficiency in project management tools such as Asana or Smartsheet and/or SharePoint to plan, track, and manage deliverables are also strongly valued. |
