The core hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM however they can be flexed either way on a daily basis depending on department needs. Will train on 1st shift for a period of time.
The Supply Chain Supervisor:
- Assists Director in selection, training, orientation, leadership, evaluation, and counseling of employees.
- Oversees day to day logistics operations (storeroom, receiving, material handling, intra-company supply transportation) keeping with all applicable standards of accreditation and all regulatory requirements.
- Ensure materials handling staff, materials handling systems, processes and activities are in alignment with the sound OSHA safety guidelines and practices.
- Develops, implements and maintains all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed for the uniformity and quality of operations and in keeping with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Drives continuous improvement activities related to Supply Chain department.
- Assists in development and achievement of departmental goals consistent with Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services (CBC/CTS's) mission and strategic plan.
- Meet operational strategies defined by management by analyzing trends, preparing critical measurements, implementing productivity improvements and resolving problems.
- Assists in budget development and ongoing monitoring expenses.
- Works effectively to maintain interdepartmental communication, cooperation, and respect.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in multiple facets of Supply Chain required to include buying, material and information flow, inventory control and distribution.
- Previous supervisory experience.

- Must be a proficient PC user.

- Must be able to pass test for and maintain operator's permit for the Fork Truck.
- Requires ability to lift and/or carry 50 pounds repeatedly and without assistance.
- Meet driver insurability standards as established by CBC/CTS.
