Supply Chain Supervisor - 2nd/3rd Swing Shift

The core hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM however they can be flexed either way on a daily basis depending on department needs. Will train on 1st shift for a period of time.

The Supply Chain Supervisor:

• Assists Director in selection, training, orientation, leadership, evaluation, and counseling of employees.
• Oversees day to day logistics operations (storeroom, receiving, material handling, intra-company supply transportation) keeping with all applicable standards of accreditation and all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure materials handling staff, materials handling systems, processes and activities are in alignment with the sound OSHA safety guidelines and practices.
• Develops, implements and maintains all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed for the uniformity and quality of operations and in keeping with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Drives continuous improvement activities related to Supply Chain department.
• Assists in development and achievement of departmental goals consistent with Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services (CBC/CTS's) mission and strategic plan.
• Meet operational strategies defined by management by analyzing trends, preparing critical measurements, implementing productivity improvements and resolving problems.
• Assists in budget development and ongoing monitoring expenses.
• Works effectively to maintain interdepartmental communication, cooperation, and respect.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
