Shop Helper

KeyStone Staffing Group has a great opportunity for a entry level candidate to learn a trade in the manufacturing field. This is a full time, contract to hire opportunity for someone who has a good ethic and attendance and wants to learn!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving, processing, and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly.
• Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that showroom/shop is organized and cleaned.
• Operating metal cutting, bending, drilling, and grinding machines and tools to cut and form metal tube, pipe, or plate.
• Cleaning and preparing metal parts to be painted.
• Perform daily duties under supervision by shop manager.
• Follow and comply with work instructions or procedures.
• Maintaining tools and equipment.
• Assembly of products based on instructions.
• Packaging parts in preparation for shipment to customer.
• Make local deliveries using company owned vehicles.
• Operate overhead crane to assist in receiving, restocking, and organization of material in the shop area.
• Performing end of day cleaning duties and ensure work area is clean and organized.
• Demonstrate attendance and punctuality daily.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to safely lift at least 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record: No speeding tickets or accidents within the 12 months (If delivery and installation work would be assigned).
• Willingness to learn and take on new roles and responsibilities.
• Attention to detail and quality while doing tasks.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience using a tape measure or other measuring devices (Preferred).
• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred).
• Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred).
