The Senior Finance Manager, FP&A - Corporate Functions is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis across Cencora's Corporate Functions. This role plays a critical part in shaping financial strategy and enabling digital transformation by partnering with senior leaders across HR, Legal, Strategy, and Finance. The Senior Manager will lead a globally distributed FP&A team, providing thought leadership, operational rigor, and actionable insights to support enterprise-wide decision-making. This role works closely with the Senior Director, Finance - Corporate Functions to implement financial goals and objectives aligned with Cencora's strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the FP&A team supporting Corporate Functions, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.

  • Set clear performance expectations and provide mentorship to build team capabilities aligned with organizational goals.

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to Corporate Function leaders, offering financial expertise and business acumen.

  • Own the development of long-range plans, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts.

  • Ensure financial goals align with enterprise-wide strategies and support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in collaboration with accounting and other Finance teams.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of Corporate Functions operating expenses and provide insights that influence strategic decisions.

  • Prepare and present financial results and guidance to senior leaders across Finance, HR, Strategy, and Legal.

  • Support accruals, variance analysis, and scenario planning.

  • Develop ad-hoc reports and business cases to support strategic initiatives.

  • Design and manage tools, templates, and financial models to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

  • Drive automation and digital transformation using Hyperion EPM, Power BI, and Excel.

  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance forecasting, reporting, and planning processes.

  • Champion continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, and recommend system and reporting enhancements.

Education and Work Experience

Requires specific training in fields such as business administration, finance, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program; Master's Degree and/or advanced certifications preferred; normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years progressively responsible related experience.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of various financial management principles, productivity and profitability analysis

  • Knowledge of Hyperion EPM, Power BI, Essbase, Business Objects and Crystal Reporting and/or other applications.

  • Fluency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).

  • Strong leadership and experience managing associates.

  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to apply the appropriate tools and level of analysis to a specific situation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain business relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across an organization.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral; good presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.

  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities; a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
