Stellantis's Software Engineering Organization (SWE) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. We are seeking a technically skilled xIL Framework and Operations Manager to lead and evolve the tools, environments, and operations supporting xIL (SIL, HIL) artifacts and simulation frameworks used in automotive software development and validation. He/ she will play a pivotal role in building a scalable, efficient, and compliant tool ecosystem that supports advanced testing of ECUs, ADAS/AD systems, and vehicle systems - ensuring alignment with automotive standards. He/ She will work laterally and across multiple meta functions (testing, validation, SW development, TPMs, domains (PRS, VE, SWE)). The team will be global, and this team will enable and support all domains and vehicle applications.

Core Responsibilities:



  • Lead the management, configuration, integration, and lifecycle of SiL/HiL tools and environments (e.g., dSPACE, Vector VT System, NI, ETAS, MATLAB/Simulink, Modelica-based tools).
  • Define and drive the strategy for virtual validation infrastructure and operations across multiple automotive software programs.
  • Implement and optimize change management, issue management processes tailored to SiL/HiL operations.
  • xIL CAPEX, Budget, Resource Estimation and Planning (SW Licenses and HW)
  • Monitor system availability, performance, and scalability of test benches and virtual test environments.
  • Establish and manage KPIs, and operational dashboards for tool/ vehicle platform uptime, usage efficiency, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and mentor a team of xIL tools and integration delivery leads
  • Partner and collaborate with domain software development, system test, DevOps, IT, and teams to capture and deliver virtual tools and virtual vehicle requirements.
  • Act as the technical liaison for suppliers of SiL/HiL tool platforms and coordinate tool vendor support.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive software development, testing, or validation, with at least 3 years managing SiL/HiL environments.
  • Deep understanding of automotive toolchains including dSPACE, Vector, NI, ETAS, CANoe/CANape, MATLAB/Simulink, TeamCity, and Git-based systems.
  • Familiarity with Safety Standards and AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive).
  • Strong foundational experience with Agile, Scrum and DFSS Methodologies



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in project and program management
  • Experience working with and/or managing global teams.
  • Experience with planning, status & risk reporting and escalation, prioritization, and global governance.
  • Budget planning and management
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum certification.
  • Experience in one of the following domains (Propulsion Systems, ADAS, Infotainment, Chassis)
