Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our inpatient hospital therapy team in La Crosse, WI.

What You'll Do:

As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients on our acute and rehab units, create care plans, and carry out treatments. You will establish best methods for assessing, treating, and rehabilitating a patient's injuries, as well as devising injury prevention and training strategies to help patients resume their normal daily activities while maintaining safety. You will consult and collaborate with referring providers and other clinical staff in providing optimal patient care as well as appropriate and timely communication. Our therapy team consists of 21 PTs, 15 PTAs, 21 OTs, 10 COTAs, and 16 Rehabilitation Technicians.

What's Available:

  • Part-time, 56 hours biweekly (0.7 FTE)

  • Day shifts (07:30a-4:00p or 08:00a-4:30p) with weekend/holiday rotation; typically one weekend a month and two holidays a year

  • Starting salary of $80,255 and up (1.0 FTE), based on your years of work experience, along with applicable weekend shift differentials and holiday pay

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved curriculum in Physical Therapy

  • State of Wisconsin Physical Therapist License

  • Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

  • Prior experience in Neuro-Vestibular or had a clinical rotation in a Neuro-Vestibular area highly desired
