Location: Philadelphia, PA/Hybrid (89% on-site / 11% Remote)

Division: Command Cyber Solutions

Position Summary

Command Cyber Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Policy Executive / Strategic Planner. The Policy Executive / Strategic Planner will play a key role in documenting and communicating cybersecurity policies, procedures, and strategic plans for high-impact defense initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, revise, and maintain cybersecurity-related policies, procedures, and strategic planning documents in compliance with DoD and Navy standards.

  • Translate complex technical and regulatory information into clear and concise written materials suitable for technical and executive audiences.

  • Support the development of system design documentation, cybersecurity operations manuals, and procedural guides.

  • Lead the creation of strategic planning documents that support mission objectives and align with evolving cybersecurity requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineers, ISSOs, ISSMs, Navy stakeholders, and program leadership to gather input and produce high-quality deliverables.

  • Present and explain technical content to leadership, including system owners, government sponsors, and certification authorities.

  • Ensure all documentation meets quality assurance, formatting, and version control standards required by the program.

Education, Certification & Experience Requirements

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, Cybersecurity or an equivalent science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) degree from an accredited college or university

Certification Required:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one

Experience Required:

  • Eight (8) years' experience with writing policies, technical documents, strategic plans, designs, cybersecurity operations and procedures, as well as presenting and explaining those products to executives.

  • Prior experience supporting Navy programs (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

  • Prior experience interfacing with executive stakeholders and presenting complex information in a clear, concise format

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with experience interfacing at the executive level.

  • Abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • This position is performed in a professional environment, remote/home office setting, or on-site government facility, as required by the contract.

  • Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, during normally scheduled business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work required to meet critical deadlines.

  • Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including periods of prolonged sitting, data entry, and screen time.

  • The role requires working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating virtually or in person with CCS teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.

  • Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, or project-related activities.
