Job Title: Access Control Installation Technician Pay Rate: $30-$32 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Access Control Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining access control systems in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic security systems and a strong understanding of commercial building infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: * Install and configure access control systems including card readers, electric strikes, maglocks, and control panels. * Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coaxial, etc.). * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. * Troubleshoot and repair access control components and wiring. * Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely and quality installations. * Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and system configurations. Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in access control or low-voltage system installation. * Familiarity with systems such as Genetec, Lenel, and Software House. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
