Description

HawkEye 360 is seeking an HR Recruiting Coordinator to serve as the face of the company at the front desk, as well as assist with recruiting and a variety of HR administrative functions.

This role requires a professional, welcoming presence and excellent multitasking abilities to balance front desk duties with recruiting and HR support tasks.

Location: This position is in our Herndon, VA office and must be available to work on-site daily.


As the HR Recruiting Coordinator, your main responsibilities will be:

Front Desk Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, guests, and employees entering the office.
  • Greet and check in visitors, ensuring they are properly signed in and escorted when necessary.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and manage general email inquiries.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.


HR and Recruiting Responsibilities:



  • Support the recruiting team in sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for open positions.
  • Assist with posting job openings on internal and external platforms.
  • Schedule and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring teams and provide timely communication throughout the process.
  • Prepare interview materials and support interviewers with logistics and documentation.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and candidate profiles.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions in coordination with department managers.
  • Assist with the preparation of offer letters and onboarding documentation.
  • Help track candidate progress and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Respond to general HR-related inquiries from employees and candidates, escalating when needed.
  • Assist in the coordination of new hire orientations and employee onboarding activities.
  • Help monitor compliance with HR policies and federal/state employment laws by assisting with documentation and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support for various HR projects, trainings, and programs.
  • Process HR paperwork and support data entry into HRIS systems as needed.
  • Assist with generating routine HR reports and summaries for internal use.


Your skills and qualifications:

Essential education and experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience in front desk or office administration.
  • Experience in Human Resources administration.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude.


Desirable:

  • Experience in any aspect of full-cycle recruiting.
  • Experience with other specialties within HR, such as compensation & benefits, training & development, or employee relations.


Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually

HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
