Program Director

Kratos has an exciting opportunity for aiProgram Director with the following responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to achieve Technical, Financial, contractual, management, and customer relations objectives of the project, program, and business
• Develop and maintain communications, consistent across programs, for use by executive management and the enterprise
• Ensure timely and compliant communications and submission to the customer
• Develop and maintain current, accurate, and complete program schedules, financial projections, forward looking staffing profiles, and risk/opportunity status
• Conduct recurring and adhoc program analysis/assessments including technical, financial, and schedule performance for development, production, and integration of products and services
• Make and support decisions to achieve business objectives using outcome of collaborative analysis/assessments of technical, schedule, financial, and customer relations.i
• Owns all deliverables IAW approved plans to meet contractual requirements on time and within approved budgets.
• Lead for program reviews with executive management and the integrated product team

• Must have working knowledge of Department of Defense Acquisition Framework and associated design milestones.
• Must have working knowledge of Earned Value Management.
• Must be adept in Microsoft Office Suite including working knowledge of MS Project.
• Experienced with risk and opportunity identification, mitigation, execution, and management
• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
• In support of the Kratos Training Solutions culture, must interact effectively and productively with direct reports, peers, and all levels of management through the Division President and/or CEO
• Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
• Ability to adhere to workplace rules
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
• Office environment
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• To work at this facility, you must be a US person

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or ability to obtain a PMP within one year of hire.
• Certification or demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management System (EVMS), per ANSI/EIA 748
• 14 Years minimum experience or a combination of education and job- related experience as a Program Manager and/or managing prime and/or subcontractor teams
• BA/BS Degree iniBusiness Management, Engineering, or Engineering Management
