Job Summary
The Facilities Supervisor oversees the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. This role is responsible for supervising the troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of mechanical components and electrical equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturer specifications, and safety guidelines. The Facilities Supervisor manages and secures inventory of tools and spare parts, and recommends the purchase of equipment and supplies to enhance efficiency. Additionally, this role supports engineers in developing and refining methods and procedures to improve facility operations and performance. Essential Duties
Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED required as a foundation for success in this role. Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management or related field is a plus. Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management or a related field. Demonstrated track record as a Facilities Supervisor or in a similar role. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate and control the work process. Good analytical/critical thinking.
