This document outlines the employment prerequisites and job responsibilities for the Floater I position in Technical Service or Manufacturing. I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: O Responsible for remaining current, proficient and qualified on a minimum: o 3 to 7 positions OR o Flow Lines OR Soldering Tech plus 1 position O Follows documented procedures and process and maintains rate to manufacture high quality products according to company Procedures. O Works collaboratively between the workgroups accepts new assignments and fills in easily to cover vacancies within a production/service line. O Accurately records all observations, data and reports any non-conformance. Recognize out of compliance/out of tolerance situations and take appropriate action. O Supports Cell Leader in training or as needed. Helps the Cell Leader in monitoring department employee performance and cross training. O Ensure process control and procedures are being followed. O Ensures the cleanliness of work area according to documented procedures. O Performs other duties as assigned. II. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED: O Provide leadership during often stressful production demands, demonstrates team work and cooperation. O Supports employee and team performance; motivates employees by setting a positive example. O Knowledge and working application of measurement equipment, Standard Operating procedures and of FDA cGMP; ANSI/ISO/ASQC requirements.
O High School diploma or GED (AAS preferred), with good math and reading skills. O Working knowledge of medical device regulations is a plus.

O Must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity O Physical Requirements: Dynamic Lifting capability: Must have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds from floor to waist, lift 23 pounds to shoulder and lift 2 pounds from shoulder to overhead. This is a manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA and many other work rules to prevent damage to the product we manufacture. Some of those work rules include but are not limited to: O Wearing a static protective smock at all times while in the work area O Wearing a ground wrist strap and plugging that wrist strap into the working table. O Working in close proximity to other employees. O Working in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled.
