We're searching for a Sr Systems Architect who'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions aligning with organization goals and technology strategy. Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the design of end-to-end enterprise solutions integrating multiple systems, applications, and technologies.
- Develop architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and training aligning with business goals and technical standards.
- Decompose the target architecture into iterative, deployable phases that minimize risk, generate quantifiable value, and dynamically construct the technical framework of the end state.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Ensure architectural compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Drive the evolution of infrastructure, processes, products, and services.
- Mentor team members on standard processes in area of expertise. Grasp and communicate big-picture enterprise-wide issues to team. Lead architects and the rest of the team members mentoring them in the areas of their function.
- Present solutions to clients, project teams, and other partners adapting style to both technical and non-technical audiences while functioning as a domain expert guiding technology strategy by convincing decision makers across multiple domains and partnering with Architects in each domain.
- Work with business teams and technical analysts to understand business requirements. Determine how to use technology to build solutions satisfying business requirements.
- Function as a technical resource for business teams to help define, estimate and recommend optimized solutions for business opportunities.
- Provide critical architectural inputs during RFI and RFP process.
- Develop architecture and technical design documents to communicate solutions that will be implemented by the development team.
- Compose High Level Solution Design (HLSD) in support of Enterprise Projects and present HLSD to senior leadership during Capital Assessment reviews.
- Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems by preparing visual diagrams of system architecture, functionality, and process flows.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 4+ yrs experience in solution architecture, systems design, or software engineering coupled with experience in designing large-scale, distributed, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- 4+ yrs experience working with one or more enterprise Data Platforms - Oracle, MySQL, Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake and validated experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Data Modeling - Ability to design logical and physical data models for transactional and analytical systems.
- Ability to read and understand SQL code and develop and implement SQL queries.
- Highly proficient in developing design artifacts, such as, High-Level design flow charts, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, use case diagrams, etc.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $102,000 - $184,000
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
