| Technology Manager of Learning & Adoption Cooley is seeking a Technology Manager of Learning & Adoption to join the Client Services team. Position summary: Cooley Technology embraces a culture of customer service excellence, and all members of the department are expected to move this agenda forward. To that end, the Technology Manager of Learning & Adoption ("L&A") leads a global team of learning professionals, providing strategic direction across all L&A functions to drive group success and ensure alignment with the firm's business goals and priorities. This position is responsible for the strategic vision, design, development, delivery, and administration of all technology learning resources and related change-management initiatives firmwide. The manager will create multi-faceted awareness and learning campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and measurable outcomes. They will play a pivotal role in driving the effective use and adoption of technology across the firm. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Position responsibilities: 
 Develop, unify, and champion the vision and strategy for Technology Learning & Adoption firmwide, aligning initiatives with the firm's overall business needs and technology roadmapEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including local office Directors of Administration, HR and other business department leaders and professionals, Technology peers, Innovation, Resource Attorneys and external vendors where appropriate, to understand business priorities and gain sponsorship for initiativesEnsure the team delivers the highest possible value to the firm by staying business/practice outcome focused and being accessible to Cooley, our lawyers and our business professionalsDevelop and implement change management strategies for new technology initiatives, software launches, upgrades/redesigns, and application rollouts that drive awareness and persona(role)-based abilityDrive adoption of new tools and processes by designing and delivering targeted communications, training, and in-person support across the firmAnticipate and proactively address resistance to change, ensuring smooth transitions and positive outcomesOversee the coordination of new hire technology training and Technology onboarding processes for all personnelCoordinate with other teams to ensure curriculum consistency and support global learning initiativesUtilize subject matter experts from various firm departments to collect and distribute essential knowledgeAnalyze learning data to identify trends, monitor and measure the effectiveness of training programs, and report on key metrics and the impact of learning initiatives. Continuously look for new methods of gathering customer feedbackResponsible for the development and maintenance of the L&A budgetAs appropriate, lead or participate in projects of varying scope, in collaboration with the firm's practice offices, practice groups, departments, clients, and vendors and present in meetings, as neededBuild and empower teams by providing support, resources, and autonomy they need to excel and achieve goalsResponsible for all aspects of the design, development, delivery, and administration of learning resources presented within a blended L&A programEnsure the team comprehensively supports technology topics relevant to firm personnelEnsure learning L&A adapts the firm's technology curriculum to the needs of each individual learner using appropriate adult learning strategies that support continuous skill improvementEnsure the team provides resources that go beyond learners' expectations, using delivery methods that are both innovative and effective in driving learner retentionEnsure learners have the opportunity to develop skills through proactive and responsive targeted one on one in person training, coaching and in virtual classesOversee learning technology as it relates to the Technology Department, partnering with other entities at the firm where appropriateLead, facilitate, and supervise coaching sessions of immersive learning through direct role observation, ensuring team members gain direct insights and practical experience by observing and learning from employees in real-time workplace scenarios. Leverage insights gathered from immersive role observation sessions to identify workflow inefficiencies, promote greater awareness of existing tools and resourcesOrganize comprehensive testing of new software applications for functionality and usability to inform the development of new technology learning offeringsStay abreast of emerging technology trends and advancements in adult learning methodologies and educational technologyServe as direct supervisor and mentor to direct reportsProvide day-to-day supervision of direct reports, ensure compliance with assigned work hours and monitor for compliance with all firm and department policies. Manage staffing coverage, review and process time logs/time off requestsSupport business professional development and continued educational opportunitiesIn collaboration with immediate supervisor and CN HR, participate in hiring, performance appraisals, counseling, termination and other employee lifecycle eventsOther duties as assigned or required Skills and experience: Required: 
 After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applicationsAbility to work extended and/or weekend hours, as requiredAbility to travel, as required5+ years direct applicable experience (e.g., technical learning and training). Senior candidates must have 7+ years applicable experience in the field with 2+ years of exempt/management experience in relevant roles.Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including M365 suiteStrong knowledge of other products including desktop hardware (PCs, notebooks, printers, scanners, mobile devices, etc.)Current knowledge of adult learning methodologyUnderstanding of educational technology, e-learning, and other learning delivery methods used by Technology Learning & Adoption Preferred:

EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $125,000 - $190,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate. Senior level candidates may be considered for this position and would be eligible for a higher salary range based on experience.
