  • Consult with internal stakeholders such as marketing, engineering, product database support, and customer experience advocates to define business-critical functionality.
  • Lead the development of business requirements (process), information requirements (data), and constraint requirements (rules) for internal enterprise platforms.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and identify business benefits for new features and system enhancements.
  • Implement, deploy, maintain, and upgrade solutions using .NET and Razor Pages, ensuring alignment with Steelcase Enterprise Technology Standards and emerging technologies.
  • Provide programming support and optimization for application modules, including Web API development and management.
  • Architect and develop web applications and design SQL databases for scalable, integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by mentoring junior developers and supporting 'Run the business' enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in software development, including full stack roles.
  • Proficiency in .NET / C# development.
  • Strong experience working with SQL database systems and designing database structures for web applications.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns, engineering best practices, and code optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and lead development efforts within a global team.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially when engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated initiative and passion for continuous learning, with a track record of staying current on emerging technologies.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and its components (e.g., Key Vault, Blob Storage).
  • Exposure to JavaScript, Python, or working with APIs.
  • Experience or understanding of ERP environments or ABAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

The annual base salary range for this position is $109,000-$134,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Steelcase considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
