Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Assistant Vice President - DB9267699 DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in Jacksonville, FL to provide dedicated support to all "Run the Bank" and "Change the Bank" activities for Global Unix infrastructure and monitor various ticket systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience providing support for applications configured on servers running with operating systems including Redhat, Suse, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Solaris and AIX; enabling HA and Load balancer support for enterprise machine critical applications using tools including VCS, Sun cluster, and Redhat Clusters; installing and configuring RedHat Linux operating system on VMware and HP server; performing OS installations, migrations, and upgrades on both physical and virtual scheduling automatic jobs using crontab and at commands; maintaining and building Linux virtual environments on VMware servers; updating resources including disk CPU and RAM to maintain threshold limits of application usage; performing system specific tuning, including CPU, real-time threads, TCP/IP, network NIC card, and memory; performing regular patching of Unix servers to maintain the latest versions and ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards; conducting performance tuning for latency sensitive trading applications in high frequency with Linux Kernel; and building, configuring and managing HPE server hardware with RHEL including firmware updates, RAID configuration and OS deployment. Salary range: $121,800.00 - $130,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
