We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Senior Consultant, Security Consulting and Forensic Analysis to join our dynamic Specialty Group.

This role is multifaceted and will involve working across three distinct but interrelated areas within our consulting practice:
Security Consulting and Forensic Analysis (70%)
Supply Chain Risk Solutions (20%)
Cyber Impact Analysis (10%)

This allocation may vary based on evolving client demands. You will report directly to the Director of Security Consulting and Forensic Analysis, while also supporting the Directors of Supply Chain Risk Solutions and Cyber Impact Analysis. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to grow within a high-impact, rapidly expanding business unit. This role is 100% virtual, offering the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United Stats.

What the day will look like

  1. Security Consulting and Forensic Analysis (Primary Focus - 70%)
  • Act as a Senior Consultant in a client-facing role supporting security risk assessments and forensic investigations.
  • Work closely with Aon Account teams including brokers, producers, Account Executives (AEs), and Account Specialists (ASs).
  • Assist in business development and marketing, including RFI preparation, response coordination, and presentation development.
  • Coordinate logistics for client site visits, including agenda preparation and stakeholder communications.
  • Attend site visits, conduct physical security reviews, participate in interviews, and take detailed technical notes and photographs.
  • Organize and archive field notes and photographic documentation.
  • Contribute to post-visit analysis, report writing, and quality control. Strong writing and editorial skills are critical.

  1. Supply Chain Risk Solutions (20%)
  • Support client-facing engagements related to supply chain resilience and risk mapping.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to coordinate deliverables.
  • Utilize and help implement Aon's proprietary Supply Chain Diagnostic and mapping tools.
  • Direct internal resources (AEs, ASs, and specialists) to appropriate support functions based on client needs.
  • Participate in the development and execution of marketing and business development strategies.

  1. Cyber Impact Analysis (10%)

  • Assist in cyber risk consulting engagements, helping clients understand the business impact of cyber threats and events.
  • Support data collection, RFIs, agenda setting, and logistical coordination for client engagements.
  • Collaborate with actuarial and cyber teams to translate findings into actionable insights for clients.
  • Attend client meetings and support report development with clarity and professionalism.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Exceptional written communication skills - ability to convey technical and complex information clearly and concisely
  • Basic accounting and finance knowledge
  • Certifications (optional but beneficial): CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CRTED (Certified Risk and Threat Evaluation Designation), or similar
  • Willingness to learn - open to acquiring new job skills and participating in relevant training programs
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel - essential for reporting and presentations
  • Valid U.S. state-issued driver's license and U.S. passport - both are required for travel
  • Physically fit and able to travel extensively - including occasional weekend travel and assignments in high-risk or challenging environments
  • Flexible work schedule - must be prepared to work hours beyond the standard workweek as needed
  • Resilience under pressure - able to operate effectively in stressful, high-risk, or unstable environments
  • Proficiency in a second language - preferred but not required
  • Willingness and ability to travel - up to 30% travel, both domestic and international

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred and minimum of four years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000-$140,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
