Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- 4 year degree, MBA or Masters in Finance or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling Treasury Management products and knowledge of the Cash Conversion Cycle required. At least 2 years of Sales Team Management experience with a proven track record of meeting sales objectives required.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills with ability to motivate and provide strategic direction to a diverse team required.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, depository products, and operational delivery required.
Job Description
Summary
The Treasury Management Regional Sales Manager, who reports to the Treasury Management Sales Director, is responsible for Treasury sales, revenue growth and client retention. This includes the sales efforts and successes of their assigned regional team. The TM Regional Manager manages the various regional and local TM Sales Officers by providing guidance, coaching and assistance, maximizing sales opportunities while mitigating risk and promoting teammate retention. The TM Regional Sales Manager develops and maintains trusted relationships through communication with regional market leadership and bank partners assuring a first in class client and partner experience.
Essential Function
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for assigned team/market Treasury Management sales activities and results, including development of new Treasury Management clients, cross sales to existing clients and ongoing support and retention of Treasury Management portfolio clients.
- Responsible for team production of larger, more complex Treasury Management deals.
- Leads the sales team on larger more complex deals offering insights into Treasury Management structure, pricing and support.
- Leads assigned TM Sales team to deliver business growth objectives and performance to achieve assigned goals.
- Coordinates with the Treasury Sales Director to clearly communicate sales objectives, assigned goals and expectations for the team.
- Meets assigned regional goals as established annually for fee income, deposit generation and client retention.
- Works with the TMOs to build a trusted collaborative relationship with internal partners, Market Leadership, Lenders and Branch partners.
- Participates in regularly scheduled Market Leadership meetings providing timely information and results.
- Takes ownership of critical client issues, escalating and leveraging the appropriate assets to correct the issue.
- Demonstrates leadership within assigned markets including follow up and project management as assigned by the Treasury Sales Director.
- Owns the team's daily sales activities assuring business objectives are met, manage risk per written credit policy and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Implements self-generated market planning strategies to improve sales effectiveness, efficiency and partnerships.
- Monitors and analyzes the team's performance against established goals and objectives.
- Creates and supports timely and accurate reporting of required sales and business development reports to assure validated sales tracking and reporting.
- Assists in recruiting, training and coaching of individual team members with a goal of achieving objectives and teammate retention.

Technical Skills
- Must display demonstrated knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Must be comfortable working with online systems and connecting remotely with customers via Webex or similar software.
