Job Description

SUMMARY:


Responsible for the management of mortgage production activities to ensure maximum profits commensurate with the business plan and goals of the corporation including the daily leadership and management of Mortgage Loan Officers and the department CRA Officer to provide ongoing support of the corporation's vision and mission statements.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:


Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES:


Recommends, formulates, and implements necessary guidelines associated with product offerings to various investors including Bank portfolio offerings to insure division and corporate profitability goals and quality product and service needs of customers are met.


Provides assistance to the Senior Manager with the guiding and directing of the management team in the development of operational, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the division's products and services.


Maintains an awareness and exercises sound business judgment in such areas as market conditions, competitive activities, sales and production goals and customer service issues.


Provides ongoing support and liaison functions to vendors and service providers to ensure quality performance levels.


Maintains a sound plan of division organization, establishing policies to ensure adequate management development.


Provides an ongoing review of all activities and operations carried out in conjunction with lending functions to insure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing various agencies and corporation requirements.


Possesses the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.


Responds to general inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, internal Bank business partners or members of the business community.


Possesses appropriate computer and technology skills.


Works with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference as well as the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.


Provides sound leadership practices, in the development and coaching of the regions sales team.


Must be able to recruit and retain talent within the region.

COMPUTER SKILLS:


Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
