Internship - R&D Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB's success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.

This role is contributing to the Energy Distribution business line within Smart Building division, who will join the Global R&D Electronic Team.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Building documents, templates and presentation in collaboration with technical teams

• Assisting in the implementation of security policies and procedures

• Conducting and develop penetration testing

• Writing and debugging code, troubleshooting issues

• Offering your own ideas and solutions.

Qualifications for the role:

• Currently studying o recently graduated in electronic engineering, computer science or a related field.

• Programming skills: C, C++, Python. Experience also with Linux system.

• Passionate in cyber security, understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and best practices. Autonomous and proactive in driving tasks to completion.

• Fluent in English (spoken & written).

• Motivation and ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
