As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage production setting. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location, supporting a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
• Interact with employees, contractors, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing site rules and regulations.
• Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Support Allied Universal and client site management with security-related tasks as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
