PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Serves as an extension to Crop Specialist(s), Plant Manager(s), and Agronomy Support Coordinator(s). Directs and coordinates activities in the Agronomy department to obtain optimum use of equipment, personnel, and facilities to encourage growth and customer satisfaction in a profitable manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Directly responsible for assisting sales and operations staff with proper utilization of current technology platforms. This will include promoting customer facing platforms/tools (currently myFS Solution Center) and assisting customers as needed. Assist sales staff in setup and maintenance of the Grower, Farm, Field, and Boundary within the Agvance platform. Meet with growers to verify field and boundary information and identify crop type and associated field splits. Enter and maintain customer contracts in accordance with company policy. Serve as a backup to Agronomy Support Coordinator(s) as needed. Run and review reports on a regular basis to assist both sales and management staff. Assist Plant Managers in dispatching equipment and operators in the most efficient route possible through the Agvance Dispatch platform. Assist locations in preparing for monthly/quarterly/yearly inventory counts as needed. Responsible for enhancing positive company image through equipment, vehicles, personal attire, actions and activities. Works with other management personnel in implementing administrative and operational policies and procedures. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Assist the Accounting department with inventory reconciliation and reporting. Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent thereof; 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must be able to obtain and maintain a driver's license and satisfactory driving record. This position may be required to work extended hours beyond those considered "normal." This position may need to travel independently and overnight. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
