Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
• Work collaboratively with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues.
• Complete required daily reports and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol to recognize and report security-related risks or hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• A current guard card or security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
