As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation facilities, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the location. Pay Rate: $32.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor access points, observe for irregularities, and interact with individuals to support a secure environment within the transportation setting.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, activities, and any unusual occurrences during the shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and transportation personnel as needed to address security-related matters.
• Operate communication devices to relay information and receive instructions during routine and emergency situations.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and client policies, procedures, and protocols specific to armed patrol assignments in transportation locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A valid Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
