As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help provide a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all circumstances.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor access points and perform security-related checks to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while providing guidance and support as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies on the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
