As a Security Guard - Transportation Facility Patrol in Seatac, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and employees. Pay Rate: $23.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document observations and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the transportation environment.
• Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry or exit from restricted areas.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
