As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Elyria, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout the facility. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing excellent customer service. This post requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, facility, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
• Monitor for potential hazards unique to chemical or petrochemical environments and promptly report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support overall security-related operations and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
