As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all occupants. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong and visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.81 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, visitors, and authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed patrol positions.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas for unusual or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining composure and professionalism in all situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, providing support and information as required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs on incidents, activities, and observations during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a handcuffing certification, baton certification, and/or CPR certification; these certifications are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
