Purpose of Position

The Safety Program Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Safety Management Manual, Business Continuity Plan, and other safety manuals. The Safety Program Analyst will assist in identifying aviation industry and training safety risks and trends as well as stay abreast of industry changes, while making recommendations to enhance and improve internal safety practices.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Maintain company safety and business continuity manuals
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements associated with safety programs and provide recommendations for enhancements and adjustments to ensure compliance
  • Aid in FlightSafety's safety management system and employee environment health and safety program execution
  • Aid in research of aviation industry safety trends and provide risk mitigation recommendations to appropriate departments
  • Aid in research of training safety trends and provide risk mitigation recommendations to appropriate departments
  • Aid in the preparation of presentations in support of the Safety Management System and special projects.
  • Special projects as assigned
Minimum Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Minimum Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in an aviation safety related role, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Safety management training is preferred
  • Project management knowledge is preferred
  • Strong computer and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read, and write
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations

Travel may be required on an occasional basis.
