| What to Expect As a Production Supervisor, you will be playing a critical role Cell Development Production Team. You will lead a dynamic team of manufacturing techs while managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas of the Manufacturing floor. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with our manufacturing and operations teams, interfacing with Engineering, NPI, and Material Flow, to ensure production goals are being met.What You'll Do
 
  Build a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high quality products against aggressive production targetsEmpower the production team to collaborate with engineering to improve product manufacturability, trial execution and line productivityDevelop training programs and hiring plans for assembly team membersSupport issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action trackingEnsure quality standards are being met throughout the entire production process and support no defects from leaving a station or team areaDevelop & maintain Standardized Manufacturing Instructions used in production assembly by the assembly team membersTesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operationsWhat You'll Bring
 
  3+ years of experience managing teams of people in a high volume manufacturing setting preferredExperience in selecting and developing new team membersAbility to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlinesCommand of the English language, both written and verbal; able to interface with executives and leaders on a daily basis and strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detailFluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to a flexible shift, including nights and weekend, if necessary Essential Physical Demands:
