What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related issues.
• Carry a company-authorized firearm as part of assigned duties, adhering to all applicable laws and company protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed, maintaining communication and cooperation.
• Maintain a visible presence around the location to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to clients, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have an equivalent background.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
