What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized persons within the utility facility.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and communicate incidents, observations, and daily activities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Support emergency response protocols related to utility operations, including alerting appropriate personnel and assisting with evacuations if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred for candidates comfortable with driving responsibilities.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
