About the Role
We are seeking a Manager, Human Resources (HR Business Partner) to join our Corporate HR team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across designated corporate functions, aligning people strategies with business goals to drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. You will partner closely with leadership on talent development, employee relations, organizational design, training, and change management-strengthening a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This position requires onsite presence four days per week.
Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
Partner with leaders on performance-related matters and employee relations.
Conduct thorough, objective investigations and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with Learning & Development on training programs supporting job performance and career mobility.
Facilitate engaging HR-related training sessions across corporate functions.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law, ensuring compliance and reducing legal risk.
Support organizational design, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness priorities.
Develop people strategies to improve employee experience, productivity, and team engagement.
Act as a change agent to support growth and transformation initiatives.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence-including Total Rewards, Talent Development, Operations HR, and Shared Services.
Participate in and support Corporate HR initiatives and enterprise-wide programs.
Coach and guide managers on performance management, employee development, and goal setting.
Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategies, programs, and policy decisions.
Interpret reporting data to proactively identify issues and drive actionable solutions.
Lead or contribute to various cross-departmental HR and business initiatives.
Collaborate with functional teams to foster a culture where employees feel engaged, valued, and empowered.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 5 years of HR or related business experience.
Experience supporting corporate employee populations, including executive teams.
In-depth knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; process improvement mindset.
Ability to exercise sound judgment when addressing people and organizational challenges.
Demonstrated resilience and positivity in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Strong coaching skills with the ability to gain credibility quickly with leaders.
Proven success partnering with remote teams or distributed workforces.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
Thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
Experience in manufacturing, food production, or multi-site organizations.
Experience leading change management initiatives.
Familiarity with modern HRIS platforms and data analytics tools.
