Job Title: IT Support Technician On-Site Overview: We're seeking an IT Support Technician to join a dynamic team responsible for setting up and maintaining computer labs and related equipment in an academic environment. This role involves hands-on technical support, including desktop setup, hardware deployment, and assisting with remote desktop access and printing services. Training will be provided for areas where additional experience is needed. Key Responsibilities: * Set up and configure computer labs, including hardware installation and software deployment. * Support users with desktop, printing, and remote access issues. * Assist with the setup and maintenance of specialized lab equipment. * Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and software problems. * Deliver responsive customer service to students, faculty, and staff. * Participate in technology rollouts and upgrades as needed. Required Skills: * Experience with desktop support and hardware troubleshooting. * Understanding of endpoint security and basic system administration. * Strong customer service and communication abilities. * Familiarity with Windows operating systems and general deployment processes. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: * 1-2 years of relevant technical support experience. * Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, academic setting. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
