| Job Summary: As a Managing Director on our Specialized Tax Services-Global Employer Services Team, you will apply your industry knowledge and experience as you work on clients of the Firm providing executive compensation advisory services to high level executives, Board, and senior management. You will be a critical part of the office's/region's Tax Services leadership team. You may be responsible for teaching, instructing and reviewing the work of those with less experience. You will also be the main client contact for compensation consulting and complex questions and information. As a Managing Director, you will be responsible for marketing, networking and business development within your area of experience and expertise with the help of our Business Development team, as well as maintaining key client relationships. Job Duties: 
 
 
 Tax, Compensation, and Benefit Consulting/Specialization:
 
   
 Has expert knowledge of the process of combining executive compensation knowledge of business/industry to recommend solutions to both private and public companiesHas expert knowledge of application of standards in Compensation & Benefits specialty and recognized as industry expertHas a working knowledge of the tax issues related to executive compensation including Sections 280G, 162(m) and 409A
Strategy Development:
 
   
 Introduces and develops new or improved ideas to improve the Firm or Firm personnelDesigns and implements compensation and benefit structuresConsistently makes suggestions as to how previous work products or approaches can be improvedExperiments and develops promising new strategies and ideasPresents complex strategies to clients and prospective clientsLeads marketing campaignsPresents to Boards and management on recommendations of compensation and benefit structuresAdvises clients of the firm on executive pay principles grounded in best practice.Tailors compensation programs for clients of the Firm to effectively meet client needs.Provides Firm clients with appropriate pay data aligned with key business initiatives and benchmarked across the industry.

 Supervises the day-to-day workload of STS GES Associates and Managers on assigned engagements and reviews work product 
 
 Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education: 
 
 
 Bachelor's degree, requiredMST/MBT, preferred
 
 Experience: 
 
 
 Eight (8) or more years of prior work experience, preferred

 Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography. National Range: $157,500 - $420,000Maryland Range: $157,500 - $420,000
 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $157,500 - $420,000
 Washington DC Range: $157,500 - $420,000
