Job Description




As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Full-Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by patrolling assigned government locations and remaining highly visible. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and providing a reassuring presence to employees and visitors. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication, supporting a professional environment where people feel welcomed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities, helping to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help control access and observe for any unusual behavior.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Communicate and cooperate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergency situations.
  • Provide visible presence to help to deter disruptions and unauthorized access at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
