Security Officer - Unarmed Post

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, conducting regular patrols and staying visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and strong communication while supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a primarily driving post, so you will play a key role in responding quickly to situations across the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues found during patrols within the location.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related needs and concerns.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols related to chemical or petrochemical environments, including the use of personal protective equipment when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
