What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities, as appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain control of the premises.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and site personnel as needed to address incidents or emergency situations.
• Remain alert and observant while on patrol, being prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents that may arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as mandated by the client.
• You must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
