As a Security Professional - Shelter Site - Full Time in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a shelter location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role involves engaging with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the shelter and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Monitor the premises for any suspicious activity or potential hazards, and report all findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the location, following site protocols.
• Collaborate with shelter staff and Allied Universal team members to support a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during each shift in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
