The Advertising Program Manager implements and executes marketing and advertising strategies supporting the over-arching Stanford Medicine Children's Health brand. This position will work in close collaboration with marketing colleagues to execute strategic marketing and advertising elements consistently supporting and promoting the Stanford Medicine Children's Health brand, reputation, and key messaging. In coordination with the Director, Brand Strategy, this position will execute advertising campaigns, coordinate events, and implement consumer research findings.

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

* Accountable for the performance and results of advertising strategies and campaigns at Stanford Medicine Children's Health. Coordinates and executes efforts to successfully develop marketing and advertising strategies, objectives, and integrated go-to-market plans for Stanford Medicine Children's Health brand.

* Guided by department objectives, implements and executes multi-channel advertising campaigns to align with the organization's brand strategy. Ensures all advertising content reflects Stanford Medicine Children's Health's mission, values, and brand standards.

* Works with external advertising agencies' efforts (creative & media) to ensure quality, on-time delivery of Stanford Medicine Children's Health brand marketing programs across multiple channels. Supports creative briefing process, and facilitation of integrated campaign/program plans including, but not limited to, broadcast, print and digital advertising, mail and email campaigns, website, social media, and events/trade shows.

* Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize performance of advertising campaigns. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and success of integrated advertising and marketing campaigns seamlessly across various platforms while consistently meeting deadlines.

* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan, organize and execute events and conferences that promote our brand reputation. Monitors and assesses event outcomes to optimize future event planning and execution. Identifies and resolves complex technical, operational, and organizational problems applying critical thinking to recommend standards and operating strategies that propel growth.

* Ensures that every interaction and relationship not only reinforces the core positioning and equity of Stanford Medicine Children's Health but also works to identify and leverage the most relevant attributes, differentiating and preferred by patients and referring physicians.

* Leverages appropriate metrics to measure marketing performance. These metrics will be used to determine marketing effectiveness as well as provide compelling data points for ongoing communications improvements.

* Supports the creation and management of market research/consumer insight tracking on behalf of the Marketing department.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

Experience: Five (5) plus years' experience in advertising, marketing or related positions. Advertising agency, client-side brand management or consulting firm experience preferred. with a proven track record of successfully executing integrated marketing campaigns, including, but not limited to, advertising, sponsorships, digital platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Knowledge of brand strategy, positioning, and target segmentation principles required to build successful marketing plans.

* Knowledge of concepts, principles and methods of developing and executing marketing promotional/advertising strategies

* Knowledge of presentation development, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and understandable fashion

* Knowledge of research processes, data development, data analysis, syndicated data and consumer information resources

* Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and clients

* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

* Ability to manage outside resources, agencies and media with clear direction and sound communication strategies

* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

* Ability to stay abreast of creative trends and tools to identify opportunities to constantly improve the creative development process.

Pay Range

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $60.34 to $80.04
